A confidential client needed to hold a specific temperature in a room the building's existing system couldn't handle. Innovative Mechanical Concepts installed a dedicated LG Dual Inverter ductless mini-split to give that space its own reliable, independent temperature control.
The challenge was getting there. The only workable location for the condensing unit was a covered parking garage roughly 75 feet away, and the path between them ran through some of the tightest space in the building. Our team routed the refrigerant piping, insulation, and electrical above the ceiling, down a narrow vertical chase already packed with existing piping and conduit, and across a congested mechanical room ceiling full of ductwork, plumbing, and electrical. At the end of the run, we core drilled through 24 inches of solid concrete to reach the garage.
Every foot of that route had to work around what was already there without disrupting the building's existing systems. The result is a clean, finished install: inside, a single wall unit with the line set enclosed in a matching cover; outside, a condensing unit protected from the weather and out of sight.
